‘The Interview’ watch full movie now, pulled by Sony Pictures from theatres ‘see below’

UPDATE: December 24/2014 – Just finished watching The Interview and my first impression, it is propaganda movie by/for the US Government. There were a few funny spots, but not anywhere near the best comedy I’ve ever seen. On a 1-10 it might be 4-5.

UPDATE: Sony is so scared about what the hackers have, they even gave in to taking down the YouTube preview, but you can view it HERE.

Simpson HouseNow we know what is expected of us in free speech countries due to the shut-down of one movie in two weeks. Artistic pleasure in the Arts expect that people doing such things, control what they put into a movie and do it discreetly, and with some clear thought.

I heard a good analogy today, we have freedom of speech but we are wise enough to know that we do not go into a full movie theatre (Not the Interview theatre) and yell out ‘FIRE’ this is irresponsible.

And we expect from movie houses, that they are allowed to express artistic artsy fartsy stuff, oh they call it ‘ART’ and use their common sense when making a movie and just think about what they are doing BEFORE they start.

In the end they will probably find some American 13-year-old boy in his Sony Pictured posters on his wall and a bong on the coffee table with all the stacks of hacked emails he just got off his 2GB mini laptop.

This is the newest and quickest way to bring Americans to their knees, if there was only another way of saying it. How very sad America, just when your opinion around the world had just started to improve.

New TTC subway train ‘will not work on curves in tunnels’ has been delayed.

March 18/2011 – TORONTO – It has been rumored (by an anonymous) Toronto Transit Commission (TTC Inspector) that the new sleek TTC subway cars will not “work on the curves in the tunnels” and there will be a further delay in them coming into service. The turn at Union Station is one of the tightest turns in the whole system and that is where they would start and end, in the beginning.

UPDATE – July 20/2011 – The NEW subway cars finally start running on the University/Yonge line starting tomorrow at 10AM at Downsview station, where you can walk the whole length of the train. Can’t wait. Do they have a GONG?

A source at the TTC Media Relations said “The rumor is not true, the trains are fine, they fit, but of course we test them, until the day we put them into service and beyond, which I believe is going to be this June.”

The new trains were to come into service in late 2010 but have been delayed and now they will be in service in June.

They are very cool, as you can walk the full length of the train without opening any doors.

When they eventually come into service (in late June) they will only be available on the Yonge Street line but will be expanded system wide, after further testing.

We get the best of both worlds, Olympic TV coverage in Canada.

We are so lucky in Canada we get all the coverage on many different networks. With CTV (Canadian Television Network) they also own TSN (The Sports Network) and are also partnered with Sports Net and then we also get the NBC feed. So if curling (yuk) is on one station we can change to one of the others.

I really love all the coverage that is coming in on all networks but what really annoys me is that NBC  feed, they do not tell the viewer when they are watching a “recorded earlier tape” they show it as if it is live. On CTV they always say if it is “LIVE” or recorder earlier. Why is that? Are they just coning the American viewer and they don’t care?

On the CTV network they have way too many commercials and they are even running free ads that tell us that it is on CTV, we already know that we are watching CTV. The CTV network has complained they are losing revenue because cable companies are “stealing”  their signal and not paying for it but they run free ads congratulating their own network instead of selling advertising. I don’t get it, are they trying to go broke?

I’m looking forward to the Hockey tonight the USA and Canada should be a great game.

Go Canada go……..
