Georgetown, Delaware – A Delaware doctor has been charged with child abuse, accused of forcing his 11-year-old daughter’s head under water in the kitchen sink and the bathtub. It has been reported his wife (Pauline) was standing by at the time, and did nothing to put a stop to it.

Dr. Melvin L. Morse, 58,  is a well-known pediatrician in the area and has been a guest on shows, such as, Larry King Live (below) 20/20, Oprah Winfrey and many TV appearances related to his practice and book about  “near death experiences.”

Last night on Nancy Grace, you would have thought by watching her ’15 minutes breaking news show’ which lasts an hour, on a continuous loop. She suggested this doctor was going to jail for life, for this horrendous action of “waterboarding” but it seems we only have one side of the story. Even some of her ‘lawyers’ did not agree with Grace. (“Unleash the lawyers”)

Has Nancy Grace gone too far again? See it HERE. You be the judge of how she reported this story.

You can skip down and see a clip from her show on August 9th on HLN, talking about Dr. Melvin Morse.

If true, after a jury trial, this is outrageous, but it seems these are the stories that have been told by Dr. Morse’s 11-year old daughter, and at this point are only alleged.

But talk about sensationalism, Grace really went over the line, but then she did it on many reports in the past, most recently, Casey Anthony.

The doctor and his wife were charged with four counts of first-degree reckless endangering, two counts of endangering the welfare of their child. Both their children are in the custody of the State. Morse’s Medical license has been temporally suspended.
